Don’t miss the Classic & Sports Car Club Awards!

| 27 Jul 2017

It has already been another outstanding year for classic anniversaries – celebrated in brilliant fashion by clubs across Europe – and it’s now time for you to enter the 2017 Classic & Sports Car Club Awards, once again in association with Lancaster Insurance. The gongs are our opportunity to recognise all of your hard work over the past 12 months, and we’re eager to learn more about what you’ve all been up to over the past 12 months.

Tony Young’s unique, painstakingly restored Maserati Ghibli targa was last year’s Car of Show

The annual awards are held as part of the Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show at the NEC, Birmingham from 10-12 November, and offer you the chance to put your club’s achievements in the spotlight – whether it’s a spectacular headline event or a fully revamped website. It’s not just for the big players, either: small clubs have picked up lots of awards over the years.

The methodically planned 924forty, masterminded by the Porsche 924 Owners’ Club, scooped Best Club Show/Event

So we now need your nominations for the categories judged before the event. The awards ceremony takes place at the Hilton Metropole Hotel, just a short walk from the NEC’s exhibition halls, at the end of the first day of the show, 10 November. Only one entry will be accepted per club for each award, but there’s no limit on the number of categories that you can enter. All nominations should, however, be accompanied by a letter from a senior officer confirming them as the club’s submissions.

Best Club Run/Rally went to the fantastic Turin 1966, organised by the Jensen Owners Club to toast 50 years since the launch of the Interceptor and FF
